Poople Game Rules
- Change one letter at a time. Your next word must differ from the current word in exactly one position.
- Every step MUST be a real four-letter word accepted by Poople's dictionary.
- You CANNOT jump directly to POOP if doing so requires changing multiple letters at once.
- The target is always POOP. Your job is to build a legal path from the daily starting word to that target.
- Fewer moves are better. Each puzzle has a shortest possible solution called par. Matching par gives you the most efficient route.
How To Play Poople?
Here is a simulated round so you can see how the puzzle unfolds. Step 1 — Inspect the battlefield Starting Word: T U N E Target: P O O P Your first goal is not necessarily to make the word look like POOP immediately. You need to find a chain of legal four-letter words. Step 2 — Make one legal change Player Guesses: T O N E TUNE → TONE Result: Accepted. What This Means: Only U changed to O, so the ladder remains legal. You have also introduced an O, giving you more possible routes toward the target. Step 3 — Keep the ladder alive Player Guesses: T O M E TONE → TOME Result: Accepted. Next Constraint: You still need to reshape the word toward POOP without changing more than one position per move. Continue the chain: TOME → POME → POMP Every move changes exactly one letter and remains a valid word.
