About Worldle

Welcome to Worldle, a fun and educational geography-based guessing game where players are challenged to identify a country based solely on its map silhouette. Each day, a new country map is presented, and players have six attempts to guess the correct nation. After each guess, the game provides feedback, such as the distance and direction from the guessed country to the target country, helping players narrow down their options.

What is Worldle?

Welcome to Worldle, a fun and educational geography-based guessing game where players are challenged to identify a country based solely on its map silhouette. Each day, a new country map is presented, and players have six attempts to guess the correct nation. After each guess, the game provides feedback, such as the distance and direction from the guessed country to the target country, helping players narrow down their options. It belongs to the geography family of daily games: one shared puzzle per day for every player.

How to play

  1. View the Map: At the start of each round, a country’s silhouette (map outline) is displayed. Your goal is to identify the country based on its shape.
  2. Make a Guess: Type in the name of the country you believe matches the map. You have six attempts to guess correctly.
  3. Receive Feedback: After each guess, Worldle provides helpful clues Distance: Shows how far your guess is from the correct country in kilometers or miles.
  4. Direction: Indicates the relative direction arrow (e.g., North, South-East) from your guessed country to the correct one.
  5. Analyze the Clues: Use the distance, direction, and accuracy percentage to refine your guesses. For example, if your guess is 2,000 kilometers southeast of the correct country, think of nations located to the northwest of your guess. The closer you get, the higher the accuracy percentage will be.
  6. Keep Guessing: Based on the clues you’ve analyzed, continue making guesses until you identify the correct country. You win when you find it within six tries!

Tips & strategy

Guess a country far from your first attempt to triangulate — the distance and direction hints narrow the map fast.
