About Colordle

Colordle is a daily color-guessing game where you must match a hidden color using hex codes, guided by visual similarity feedback. It’s a creative twist on Wordle that challenges your eye for color and precision.

Colordle is free to play in your browser — no download and no account needed. Like every good daily game it serves everyone the same challenge each day, so you can compare results with friends and keep your streak alive. Come back tomorrow for a fresh round.

What is colordle?

You’re not guessing words. You’re guessing color itself. colordle drops you into a world of subtle shades and near-invisible differences, where the goal is simple: find the exact hidden color. But with millions of possibilities in the RGB spectrum, every guess feels like searching for a needle in a rainbow. The twist? You’re guided only by how close your guess is. No letters. No categories. Just color blocks, percentages, and your own perception. It’s calm, creative—and deceptively brutal.

colordle Game Rules

  1. 🎯 % Match Score → How close your color is to the target (0%–100%)
  2. 🎨 Visual Comparison → You see your guessed color vs the target directionally
  3. 🔍 Color Shift Clues → Subtle hints (more red, less blue, etc.)
  4. You MUST guess using valid hex color codes (e.g. FF5733).
  5. You have a LIMITED number of attempts.
  6. The game NEVER tells you exact RGB values—only closeness.
  7. Small differences matter: even 1% off means you're still wrong.

How To Play colordle?

  1. Start with a base color — Player Guesses: FF0000 (pure red)
  2. Adjust tone and hue — Player Guesses: FF8800
  3. Fine-tune — Player Guesses: FFAA33
  4. Lock precision — Player Guesses: FFB347

Strategy & Tips

  1. Think in RGB shifts: Adjust one channel at a time.
  2. Use big jumps early: Explore the color space fast.
  3. Refine late: Small tweaks win the final steps.
  4. Trust the percentage, not your eyes: Visual similarity can mislead.
