What is City Zoom?

City Zoom is an immersive daily geography puzzle that challenges you to identify capital cities around the world from real satellite imagery. Every midnight, a new mystery national capital is selected. Your mission is simple: identify the target capital city in 6 attempts or fewer - starting from a close-up, high-resolution satellite perspective. Every round begins zoomed tight into the urban fabric. Search for dense street patterns, iconic stadium shapes, river bends, and distinctive building geometry. With every incorrect guess, the satellite camera pulls back, revealing larger geographic features—from coastlines and mountain ranges to surrounding bays and lakes. It belongs to the geography family of daily games: one shared puzzle per day for every player.

How to play

1. Read the Satellite Image: The round starts with a high-zoom satellite view of a mystery capital city. Look for dense blocks, landmark buildings, rivers, and overall urban texture.
2. Enter Your Guess: Type a capital city name in the search box and pick it from the dropdown suggestions. Every answer is the capital of a country, and common aliases are recognized too.
3. Get Instant Feedback: After each guess, the map zooms out to expose more context, and you'll see the kilometer distance plus a compass arrow pointing toward the mystery capital.
4. Keep Refining: You have 6 attempts in total. Use distance, direction, and the newly revealed geography to narrow the search with every guess.
